i wasnt sure how it was gonna work and look once done. i initially brought a used bumper and was told it was made by hanson bumpers. they no longer make anything but heep stuff now. find a local fab guy that was able to add duel swing outs to my bumper. came out great.

Question though, you suggested my spare was mounted up too high. That the bottom of your tire would be even with the top of the rear bumper on your swing-out setup. Yours looks higher than mine. What changed your mind?

haha your right. guess it was easier said than done.
when we were playing with ideas on how to place everything. it was better to go up and more to the left so the driver tail light is visible than to go low and more to the right. with the tire more to the left, i still get more visibility out the rear window. also this gives me an option to go larger size tire and the bonus is that it is much more to the left than originally planned, i just have to move my license plate a few inches to the right and i wont need to redo the wiring for a plate light.

love to go wheeling with you if i ever get the opportunity, love to get a picture of our rigs together.

Any guesses what happened here?

This happened two days before I sold it...

Which I promptly replaced with this 87 SR5.

Which I continued to adventure the shit out of.

after this I decided adventuring in Texas mud sucks so I reserved further adventuring for Colorado.

Unfortunately my little brother deemed the request to keep the oil topped off a trivial one whilst on loan, and that was the end of the 22re. So she sits in the driveway now awaiting a new engine. Think I'm gonna go with Putney's out of California. If anyone has any feedback or input on that subject I would be all ears.
