haha...thnx...the wheels are 15x14 and the tires are 33x13.5....it drives great it doesn't track all over the road even when you hit the brakes...i love mobing it around Vegas...

Just posted in the new members forum, but couldn't hurt to post here, too!
Living in Arizona, I get to see all kinds of sweet 1st gen 4runners, and I love it.
I haven't done much at all to this one yet, but as time and money allow, I'm planning on doing everything from fender flares to a rebuild of the 22re (currently rocking 202k).
This forum gives me all kinds of inspiration!

Not sure if I asked you this already in the past, but what have you done for increased security? A club, locks, or switch?

There are several implementations to prevent a thief from starting it, although I don't feel comfortable going into depth for security's sake. I also use a red club, mainly for the novelty of it, but it would be annoying to mess with.

Soon will be installing a Viper 3706V 2-way alarm system with 1 mile range, sensors for glass/shock/tilt/doors, plus proximity sensors for the back area when the top is removed. Will likely tint the windows too.

The truck is parked below 4 motion sensing flood lights and 3 HD video cameras with night vision capability (though once the lights come on, their brightness causes the cameras to switch back to daytime mode). The camera DVR is connected to my battery backup good for 48 hours. My next door neighbor has 3 additional cameras of the same type on his house recording the street and the only entrance to the neighborhood. The cameras are the result of past incidents.

Used rubbing compound, and then wax on the entire body and brought back the shine! Wheels painted, front lip painted, front driveshaft and front axle carrier installed. Getting there!

Camping alongside the Death Ridge Road in the Escalante-Grand Staircase over Labor Day weekend. The "road" was in pretty bad condition and it took quite a while to get through the rough part.

Got some updates, put a "roof rack" on it. Its a navy stokes litter stretcher. Serves multi purpose duty, good for carrying stuff, great for taking naps in, and if someone gets cracked up then we can carry them out. Its pretty lightweight but quite strong. Mounted on the front is my light array. Center bar is a 120W spot set for distance, on each side is a flood light aimed more down for directly in front, and on the outer ends are floods pointed off at angles for seeing whats on the sides and what you are about to turn into. All of these lights on pulls not even half the amps of the stock headlights. Above the lights array is of course my CB antennae on a folding mount for running under trees. Next is to mount an antennae for 900mhz ISM FHSS comms. Digital encrypted for medium range vehicle to vehicle.
