The wind noise didn't really catch my attention a whole lot at 70-80 mph. I get more tire and road noise than anything. And taking 100 lbs of fiberglass off of the runner didn't really change anything noticeable for performance. But I was a little worried about branches and stuff poking holes and ripping the top while wheeling. Today was the first little trail run with the soft top. I'll have to learn to be careful around the trees.

That's a custom bend that the owner 2 back made up. Since the ends are uncapped as well as the sliders, I'm going to guess he built the sliders too.

While I question the workmanship of not capping ends, I can't fault the dude for the tub job he did on the front end. It's very clean and the ECU relocation is top notch.

Got the TG 4" front end lift & rebuild kid coming this week & will probably do a set of 63" chevys in the rear.

I should probably fill my welding bottle now... got some work coming.

The 4runner rarely gets wheeled anymore now that the truck is done. I did get it stuck in a friends field the other day tho... Haha.

Sad I know! There's actually a slight up hill on the hill that the camera didn't pickup, which was mainly why I was stuck. And the trucks really dirty here.

There are pics of the TR in the build thread over on YT, if thats what your after. My Club has its first ride of the season on March 11th. Should have some good pics after that. I dont post it much over here because is not a Runner...

Pretty much. Haha. I can wheel alot harder in a truck that I know dosent have to get me to work on Monday...plus its built a little better. There is a reason its starting to look more and more like a raisin every time I drive it. The runner was bought to be the DD, but Im sure it will see some light trail duty this summer.. :lookout:

Hmmmm, there are so many 4Runner/Yota sites, I can't remember if I posted pics here..... or just scavenged for info as I was figuring it out! haha......... Anyway, saw a buddy from Yotatech, Blakefogt here, .... thought I'd better toss another CALI Rig up for the heck of it, in case I haven't already, lol........

My 87, self- built/mostly restored/ from the ground up. 22RE/Eski Dual Layer Springs/261 Engnbldr CAM/Mild Port and Polish on Head and intake-exhaust ports/LCE Header with Borla Exhaust-2.25" to the back/12"x125# Zuk Coils/4Crawler-1.5" BJ spacers/New Mega Travel Downey Greaseable Upper BJ's, New OEM Lower BJ's, all new CA Bushings, New Moog Idler Arm, OMEmu 2" lift shocks and Stabilizer, 1" Diff drop, Sway Delete/ 4.30's and a Spartan Locked rear/2 sets of meats, 1.) 31x11.50x15 BFG AT's, 2.) 32x11.50x15 BFG MT's on Outlaw 2's/TIRED W56 and plenty of projects in the works(IF I EVER FIND TIME! lol) over on Yotatech, where I'm 'chefyota4x4'......

I'll be moving this Con-Ferr rack to the rear, covering the Topper-only(figuring out the mounting system, don't like using the fiberglass rails/nor how forward it sits that way, either.......But I like the rack, ....Nostalgia! lol.....

Blake has my CAI now, ......, I have another, but I'm waiting to decide on whether or not to 82-Supra and AFM Swap it...(The machinist messed up SO MANY things in this motor, I had to rebuild it 3K miles later, myself,.... and it's running like a champ, since!)
