1st Gen tacoma king 2.5 coilovers fit 3rd gen without modification?

Ok guys I'm getting a killer deal on some king coilovers extended travel 2.5 with camburg uca uniball it's on a 1st gen taco 2wd 6lug. Is there any issue on using them on my 3rd gen 4wd 4runner? I have tried to do as much research on them. I know the front are identical but just want to make sure before I dish out the mullah.
I'm sure valving will be off but shouldn't be that much difference I don't think. Any feedback and info would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not and its fine for my style of driving and off-roading. You may notice more if you plan on hitting a lot of whoops quickly.

yup. you have to clean out the internal nitrogen bladder and put it inside the resi.

I've got Eibach 600lbs on my fox 2.5's. Minimal extra weight up front. Ride quality is great, handling is amazing with no front sway bar attached.



I'd probably do 650s with a plate bumper and winch.

I was running 14" 650lb on mine. Plenty of lift and not a lot of preload and held the weight of my ARB and winch fine. Rode good, had no regrets. If I wasn't getting such a screaming deal on BP51s for my new truck, I'd get King again in a heartbeat

I think I remember seeing one of the companies having a 620lb option, that would be perfect for you. If not, 600 or 650 would probably work depending on your preference for ride quality.

Toytec has Eibach's with a 620# spring rate. There on my rig right now. If you can hold off a few weeks till Relentless finishes my damn bumper I can let you know how they settle with the extra weight. lol

Didn't even think of that. Lucky for me I couldn't afford anything better when I installed my lift. lol
