1st gen tacoma shocsk on 3rd gen?

Sorry if it has been posted before, but I am picking up a 1st gen taco this weekend that has icon shocks in the rear, I am wondering if any one has every ran these on there 4runner? I was thinking about sourcing and adapter like the bilstein 5125's or something of that extent. My question is am I better off keeping my 5100's with 890's in the rear or try and make the icon shocks work? Thank in advance

They won't bolt on, don't think they are the right lengths either.

Not sure on the length, I usually reference the king shocks website for info like that for oe replacement shocks, but oddly enough they don't list the collapsed and extended length for the 96-04 rear tacoma replacement shocks. However, even if the lengths are right, I think that top cap issue would prevent you from running them because those top caps that convert the mounting setup from a stud to an eyelet type usually require three mounting bolts on the top plate to hold it to the shock bucket and there are no holes in the 4Runner rear upper shock bucket.
