1st Oil Change - A Nice Experience

Just a brief pleasant experience.
Adding oil W/O needing a funnel. That's sweet, that oil filler casting works as well as it looks.
Easy access to the oil drain, another nice touch so no need to drop the rear skid plate, and an oil filter in a great position after removing the front skid plate.
All in all, pretty simple. My only slightly negative comment is I thought there would be more room to roll arround under the T4R on my creeper. Had to spread out a drop cloth instead.

I've never had to remove the skid plates, I just use my pliers and remove the filter from the the top.

It's gone in 30sec.

I usually get at least a 1/4-1/3 qt of oil coming out from the oil filter when I did an oil change. Popping off the front skid plate isn't that hard and doesn't take much time (especially with air tools).

I just go to my BIL's shop and do it on a lift but bring my own oil and filters. I bought 6 cases of 5w30 Syntec from Strauss Auto when they had a sale and bought 10 oil filters from the guy on eBay.

I had problems taking the skid plate off.. so... spent 10 bucks and let the toyota mechanic change it for me. I changed a V6 and there wasn't alot of room down there.... so with a V8... i'll need to lift it somehow. someday.. i'll tackle it.
