Greetings from Upstate NY,

I just wanted to introduce myself as a new 4runner owner as I just picked up my '10 Trail (Black) about 10 days ago and I am loving it. I always wanted to get my hands on a 4runner but settled for other SUVs in the past.....So when the 5th Gen T4Rs came out, I just had to have a Trail model.
Anyway, I am more than satisfied with my purchase and loving every mile and all the great info here on the forum.

Have fun with the black! I wish I could wash mine everyday and mine is loaded with surface scratches ('96 with over 212,000 miles). Go GIANTS!!!

Ha! ya I was worried about that when I was looking. I really wanted a silver one as I liked the way the trim looks with that color. Black was my second color and I haven't owned a black vehicle in over 12 years, but I couldn't turn down the deal I got on this one, and there were no silver TE's anywhere close enough for a dealer trade (so they said). But I "murdered out" this one with some black wheels and dark tint on the front windows, so it looks pretty tough...

I'm just glad mine has a ton of surface scratches, because I'm not AS worried about it when I go offroad! Went through some trails a few weeks back and scraped the sides on some branches, that would have drove me nuts if it was new!

I've had 2 black 4X4's (both Jeeps), and it's been my favorite color. Next would be my camo Toyota, but that's not for everyone
