Very cool, what part of colorado were you at? I would assume that some of the pics are from Sand Dunes NP. Ive always wanted to go out there when the Aspen are turning, but it never works out with my schedule.

The trail is Medano Pass. It will take you around 3hr (about 10 miles long) to pass it.

I was surprised to see the fall coming so early over here.

The trail is not difficult, except you have got to watch out for the tree branches at the end of the trail.

The only problem is getting there and back from Denver which will eat at least 5 hour of your day.
