It was great to finally meet everybody and put a face to the name. I really enjoyed hanging out and chatting with everyone. The people at this meet were me, Bobby, chunderboy, Koz, Edl04Sport, and greasefingers. Sorry I could not stay and eat with you guys. Hopefully there will be another one in the future and even more people will attend. Anway, I had a great time and everybody's trucks looked great. Drew and Bobby, yours also sounded great with those new horns!!! :D I can kick myself for not taking a few pics. The camera was right on my front seat.

Hey Mark...great meeting you too. It was a lot of fun. You missed a really good meal. I think Drew took some pics of the obscene amounts of food we had. Hope you get your bumper fixed soon. Good luck with it.
 
It was another good meet and it was great seeing everyone again and meeting Mark86 but we're gonna have to recruit more people next time and do a drive or something. I'm getting a little tired of just standing around looking at pretty 4runners. Don't get me wrong, I had fun but let's USE our 4runners for what it was built for :D. I'm thinking a drive up to the 7 Lakes up near Bear Mtn. It'll be a nice drive and there are some dirt roads up there that we can explore and a few parking lots we can hang out in. I'm thinking April 9th (Saturday) would be good.
 
i'm def. going to try and make the next meet for sure. both times i couldn't make it 'cuz of family related issues, but that's no longer a problem.

I'm originally from Westchester county so I'd love to come down and meet up with you guys if you go to Bear Mt.

It was another great meet, the food was plentiful (as usual), the company was great, and it was nice to visit Bobby's service station. :D

I attached the link to the Philips Crystal Vision Extreme bulbs, they are the same temp. as the Silverstares and produce the exact same light.

I only installed some Hella horns for chunderboy. Oh, and I bought a Lincoln grease gun at Pepboys ($25! Great deal as they are $30 and up online.) and it was in my truck so I thought I'd just use it. I do have a pretty good set of tools (Snap-ons) if you guys need work done, the meets aren't a bad place to do some simple stuff.

Koz - I was using Bluevisions which weren't really blue at all but they were definitely whiter and brighter. I guess Philips came out with higher end bulbs since.

Ksneubec - Glad you found this section :D. Keep an eye out for details on the next meet.


Update on the lift kit - Performance Products were backordered (they only told me a week after I ordered it :bash: ) so I cancelled and ordered from 4 Wheel Parts. They were cheaper and it's on the way now. $249 shipped for the Daystar 2.5" lift (fr and rr). I should have it by the 28th.
 
Triple stack of plain pancakes. Between the 5 of us, we couldn't finish it. The food was excellent, as usual.

i have two friends who EACH were able to finish their own stack of 3!! and they're not as fat as one would imagine.

hopefully there will be another meet there soon, this time i'm going to make sure to come.

any music people on here? if so, did anyone go to Vintage Vinyl after Harold's?? that place is great!
 
Man, this sucks. I haven't been able to make either meet. Last one because I was on stand-by, and this one because I am in Iraq. I will hopefully be back in Apr sometime. So I will check to see if there is one in April!!! One good thing about being over here is, it keeps the mileage down on my 4runner. I don't think I have gone over 6000 yet and I have had it since Sept 04! Oh, btw......hi from over here and there is some great offroading here. I went out with some Army guys and had a blast. If I get to go again, I will remember my camera. I will check in every now and then. Later on guys.

Bouncnb - Thanks for being over there for us. Stay safe and get back soon so we can check out your 4runner :D. We'll have a few more meets. Next one will probably be April 9th. I tried to scout some trails yesterday and got a ton of scratches all across the sides of my truck. Oh well.

Bear Mtn or 7 Lakes is probably the next meet. Hopefully, it'll be warm enough.

I'm just about to hit 5k miles soon and I've had mine since Nov '04.
