Looking into Bilstein 5100’s with OME 884 and Wheelers T12 coils for a 2.5/1.5 lift on my V8. Any recommendations on correcting the dreaded lean? Front or back and what size??? Trying to avoid having to buy it after the fact.

Yes I have searched for the past hour but I really wanna get this right and not have to tear it apart again

I used the OME 10mm rear spacer. Seemed to work nicely.

I think

Only reason I’m going OME 884 is because I’ll get a little more with them to compensate for the V8

that youll get more than 3"s using the 884s on a 2WD b/c you lack the additional weight of a front/center diff and transfer case. Also, since you lack these items i think that the driver side lean will be less.

If it were me id consider the T1s. :llama:

So you think I’ll be pretty level with the V8 using T1/T12?

Yeah that could be the reason for my lower than expected front. Keep us posted on how it turns out.

Talked to Toytec which does a lot of 2WD conversions and said the 884’s would raise 2.5 so I order those and the the T12’s and they should be here this weekend:rofl:

I'm planning on installing the t1/t12 with billsteins and purchased a 1/4" spacer for the front driver side. It seems like most of you guys are saying you put the spacer in the rear to correct any driver side lean? I always thought it was the front...

I ordered both a 1/4” spacer for the front and a 10mm trim packer for the rear

I did the exact same lift (bilsteins when I first got the truck, and then the coils recently). I only used the rear trim OME spacer for lean. I am even all around BUT, 1" higher in the rear. Likely due to the V8 up front (in hindsight, I should have left the Bilstein's on the first clip rather than putting them back to zero), but the rear did go up 2.5" (from 35 to 38") which is kinda weird. Could have been the stock springs were compressed a bit after 14yrs? I suppose you could do the front spacer for lean, I am not sure it matters. Keep me posted on how it turns out. I will be curious to what you get before/after.
