2" Body lift is almost in. Not so much on the front mounts

Well I got everything except the front mounts done. The bolt is just so seized in the bushing and the metal sleeve for the bushing. I am going to see about maybe getting an air chisel to cut the head off and replace the whole rubber mount and hardware. I tried drilling it out from the bottom with no real luck I only have an electric drill and not nearly enough bits to fight this battle. I tried jacking the truck up and lifter it off the ground by the bolt and it wont move. Not 1mm! Sucks ass!

torch set up is a must have tool for working on 10+ year old trucks .

Haha tried that first. Maybe I need a bigger hammer! Worry about torches it's right by all kinds of not torch friendly stuff.

Well the bastards came out. I needed to break them off using a breaker bar and a vicegrip. But I wont bumper is mostly mounted and all I need to do is get some sleeves to replace the broken ones and reuse my stock body mounts and blamo done tomorrow ... or whenever I get those sleeves. Till then no front body mounts lol.

I got the kit from 4Crawler and it was awesome! I have nothing but good things to say about it and would highly recommend his kits. I've had other B.L. in the past and I can't remember who made it but it was a big brand and this was far superior!

Noob question here. How much more difficult is the 2" vs the 1". I'd like to go with the 2" but don't want get in over my head. Thanks

Not much more difficult. Only difference is you'll have to raise the body another inch to install the spacers and do the radiator drop. Bit that's easy I didn't even use the brackets in the kit. There were already holes 2 inches down from the factory mount. It's very simple

I second that. I did use the bracket and it was super simple. The hardest part of the job for me was the steering spacer but you need to instal that on 1-2" anyways. So giver!

I did use this as a great excuse to buy myself a highlift lol.
