2 Factory nav questions....

1- Is there any way to make the DVD player play movies in the vehicle, or is that a no go on factory? I'd want to run them through monitors in the kid seats. Even if it would run iPod movies through the screen then that would be cool, and probably actually my best option. Then I could mount a screen on the ceiling or the headrests for iPod movie playing.

2- Does the diversity antenna setup (2 connectors I think) work with one like the e7019 stereo? I haven't received it yet, but am thinking about trading it for an Eclipse even before I install it if the Eclipse will be able to do more for me.

Thanks gang.

Nobody knows? Anybody want to go ask the guy in SoCal why he won't respond to my emails or ship this item that I paid him for a week ago? :vader:

1. Coastal Tech does make an interface kit to get iPod video to the nav screen. I believe you need two parts from them, the Lockpick and the iPod interface unit. http://www.coastaletech.com/

I know the 2006 nav screen (E7008) can play DVD videos when in park if it's equipped with RSES (rear seat entertainment system). There are also additional A/V inputs in the center console to connect an external source.

2. Don't know about the E7019.
