2" lift good idea?

I'll try to keep it simple
Currently:
99 stock OE suspension at 128k
Ground to fender on slight incline F - 36" R - 34" on level ground it looks like I have about 1-1.5" of sag
Drive on pismo and fire/back country roads. No trails or anything gnarly.
I want to keep my 265/70s (they're brand new) and id buy 265/75's next time around.

My thoughts:
1. Toyota 4Runner and Pickup lifts, suspension, accessories at he best and lowest prices 2-2.5" lift. Would that kit (1/4 way down the page) be all I would have to buy? Or are there extras (diff drop etc)
2. Old Man Emu Suspension for Toyota 4Runner Trucks- Wheeler's Off-Road, Inc 881/906 and bilsteins
3. Find some stock coils and bilsteins, and call it a day

Your opinions: ....?

The 881s (with the 1" top spacer - light/med.), 882s (heavy for a lot of extra weight), or 883s (heavy for extra weight) will be a 2.5-3" lift for the front and both the 890s (light/med.) and the 891s (med./heavy) will be a 3" lift for the rear. You can run 285/75R16s with this set-up with some very minor wheel well trimming.

The 881s without the top spacer will be about a 1.5" lift in the front and the 906s will be about 1.5" for the rear. 265/75s are the biggest you can run without rubbing for this set-up.

You can also run 265/75s on a pre '01 stock set-up w/o rubbing.

For you, I say 881s w/ 1" top spacers and 890s, but it depends on what you want to do. The OMEs don't ride particularly plush on road (although I don't mind), but they are stiff and awesome off road.

Thank you brian! I think this might be my choice. My problem is tires. I just bought these 265/70s and am already stretching my car budget looking at lifts. I think ill just go with 881/906 and get a small lift and 265/75s next time i buy tires. I looked at toytec first (seems like a great company) but they dont appear to sell 906s :shrug:

Also, considering my ground to fender is around 35", do we know if the 881s and 906s will actually give me a 1.5" lift as advertised, or is that based on some other stock height?

I would guess 881s will lift your front about .5-1" since you have '99 coils (and the fronts don't appear to be sagging). The 906s should level out the rear w/ the new front so probably about 2.5-3" over the saggy rear coils you have now.

My OMEs ride like a truck, but my junk isn't a toddler shuttle so that's just fine with me. There's another recent thread on here in which the poster just bought this exact set-up and isn't very pleased how it rides so take it into consideration:

thank you very much. i have been reading that thread, but I figure I'll be alright with a more truck like ride. And worst case I just wait a couple months and if I dont like it, take it out and sell it
