2 MPG Better Now

Well, thanks go out to the T4R Forum for providing me with the info and DIY instructions.

I changed my diff's and transfer-case to Mobil1 synthetic and took out the charcoal filter from the air box. Just drove from MEM to Destin FL and even at 80mph I averaged better than 20MPG loaded to the max. We make this trip each year and normally I struggle to get 18MPG.

I am not sure which of the changes made the biggest impact, but I am pleased.

Thats great. Which Mobil1 synthetic oil did you use? wieght and type. I have been thinking of doing the same. Also how much oil did you end up having to use?
