2 questions about 4G cargo nets

ok, so in the process of moving, we had some trash hauled from the house. while i was moving w/ my brother, the trash people took my cargo net. they assumed it was trash as, unbeknownst to me, my brother and i threw the cargo net in that pile, etc… long story short, it's gone.

so…

1) how much do new ones cost?
+
2) anyone know a place that has them cheaper than what a stealership would ask?

if anyone on here has one for sale, PM or eMail me. and what i'm referring to is not the net that holds cargo in place on the floor, but rather the one that sits next to the back of the gate. thanx!

search ebay...that's the best place to find one...which cargo net are you looking for? the one that goes over the top of the double decker or across the back? I think I might have a second one for the top of the double decker...

yeah, i'll probably do the eBay thing. i need the envelope cargo net that goes <-----> across the back, NOT the spider net. i called my two local dealerships. one was $41 and the other $35. i'm gonna check out the Partznet link and see what their price is.

i guess i didn't even need to make a post about this looking back at it, hahaha. thanx for your suggestion though! much appreciated…

Heck, I believe you can even pick them up at Wally World nowadays. I am also pretty sure you can get them at your local major chain autoparts store such as Pep Boys, or Auto Zone! They do not cost much......I'd say in the $15-$30 neighborhood. The dealer throw mine in for free---or at least they made me think they did!

it has a tab...can't remember if it says toyota on it or not...I'll look later today. It did come in genuine toyota packaging, tho... :

but my 05 SR5 came with the doubledecker cargo unit. But I don't see any cargo nets anywhere.

Aren't the nets supposed to be part of that "option" ??

hope so, was just about to order a set until I came across this post and saw people mentioning them.

T4R just saved me money (I hope)...but then again, it's cost me money with all the other mods I've done.

i would check your sticker to see if it was included as an option. i honestly can't remember if mine was an option or it was standard because i had a Sport, but more likely than not it should have come with them.

I bought a cargo net from the ebay username "toyota_accessories" and what they sent me looks like an after market item with a sticker put on the bag. I net has the envelope system, but it doesnt have a cord to keep the bottom tight, so anything you have that isnt in the envelope will fall out the back of your cargo area. I own a 2006 4runner, I had a 2004 4runner that had the original equipment one with the black tab and red toyota letters on it. Im going to try and get a refund from them, if not I guess i will try and sell it. Does anyone know where I can buy the original type cargo net? Thanks in advance

be happy that you can get all taht stuff there. i'm scr3wed. mine didn't come with either of hte nets and since there isn't a Nseries (which i think is the 5th gen right?) 4runner in the UK, UAE or Pakistan i'm either going to have to go to the US or Japan to find parts.

tell me one person in their right mind who'd want to risk shipping anything here? The country is falling apart around me. can't even access my paypal account when i'm over here so i can't order stuff online and have it delivered to my UK address, and since my billing and delivery addresses are different in the UK they refuse to send the items to my house.
