I don't share his opinion. I like them quite a bit and would actually consider buying them if you were in Cali and therefore didn't have to pay for shipping too. Maybe not at $2k, but my point is I like them a lot.

Do I remember some thread where you said you are going to 22s? Do you have pics?
 
I just checked, and THIS thread is the one I remembered. The second question still stands. Maybe your new rims look so pimp that you don't want people to see something that looks better than your 20s for sale.

I guess you don't need any backup, the thread I just linked has plenty of people that like the rims.
 
ohh man i wish i was in cali to sell them to you. maybe 1900 or 1800 lowest i would go though.
i was thinkin of gettin 22's cus bigger is always better.. hehe but now im plannin to get a motorcylcle.
I think 22's are too big for the 4runner 20's is perfect because its big enough to shine =0) and the ride still smooth. no worries about potholes n stuff... you have pics of your runna?

Nope, I haven't posted any of mine except a relevant interior photo. I looks like everyone elses black limited, plus debadging. Therefore, I didn't post pics, because I figured it wouldn't interest anyone. I do have some bad pics, but not here at work.

I saw a runner with either 20s or 22s the other day and snapped some photos. I'll post them in a seperate thread when I get out my camera cable (had to store the pics in the internal memory).

So, are you going back to your stock rims and using the money towards a 2wheel?
 
that be cool if you get the pics from that 4runner i would like to see a 4runner on 22's I need to update the pics of my toyota. I added a scion/pioneer radio and a gorhino chrome step bar in the rear. it looks decent =0)
Yeah if i sell these rims i def would by me a nice used sports bike.
 
So, complements of your cardomain.com site, I discovered a million 4runner pics that I have never seen before! That was fun and will continue to be when I get more time.

THIS guy has 22s on his 2003.
 
ACK! I checked that link to the 22's on the 2003. I can't say I like it at all... destroys the lines of the truck, makes the truck look like some aftermarketed piece of sh!t.

I think OMAR's setup looks good however. I agree, 20's look good....big and classy :D

I agree that most of the 20s I have seen look better than those 22s. I don't think the 22s exactly look bad, but just not much better, if any, than the stock.

I figured out how to transfer the pics from the camera memory to the sd card, since I don't have the cameras computer cord at work and wahlah! You can check it out HERE

I think it looks better than the other one that I linked.

ohh man

Im really not feeling the looks of that runner. def 22's do not look good on it.. I think its because the way the wheelwells are designed they are trapezoidal lookin instead of the usual arc. n looks like he's riding on rubberbands hehe the rims are pretty nice.. i like rims that have that deep dish look. good job gettin the pictures.
 
i took this picture with my nokia 7250, i didtn do such a great job cus there was ppl inside the car and i didnt want to make it obvios plus.. i was walkin to catch the subway hehe.. anywayz check out that front grill.. it looks so much better in person. its got a color matched enclosure taht says 4runner in between the top n bottom polished bars. looks sweet.

Thanks for making the effort to snap that photo. But, man is it hard to tell what we are looking at. I would really like to see a more detailed picture. Does anyone know what this is? Who makes it? It looks to me like a high bull bar. That is a really interesting design with the black in the middle. I wonder if it is custom. Now you got me all curious. So, it looked pretty good hugh? How would you compare it to the T&H low or high bull bar? You call it a grill, but it looks more like a grill guard. Sorry for the 21 questions. I guess that is what happens when you post such an interesting, yet difficult to interpret, picture. Thanks again for sharing it.
 
to me...it looks exactly like a t&h high bull bar with one of those rubber/vinyl protectors so that if someone does brush up against your guard (which is what it's made for) the chrome would not be scratched. personally.....i think it takes away from paying extra money for the chrome guard......might as well get a black one and save a couple hundred bucks.

luxury, i don't know where to get those things, but i've seen them on other bull bars/ grill guards. they're just like sleeves that slip onto the bar to protect it from getting scuffed up.

speaking of which....my bar has a few scuffs, and i'm wondering if there's a way to get them out? i presume the same things that work on shining chrome wheels will work on my chrome bars. am i right?
