20 Posts Before New Thread Seems Extreme

Is it 20 or 15 posts to start a new thread, I saw 15 somewhere else? I joined hoping to sell a basically new 2016 TEP w/ KDSS, but it looks like it might take a while before I can make the post. Any suggestions?

Get to welcoming folks, drooling over build threads in every section, and commenting on ISIS and Trump in the off topic.

I could get 15 posts in 5 minutes if i was new.

It isn't difficult. I made the 20 post limit in 10 minutes just replying to topics in the off-topic section as well as complementing a few build threads. You have to understand, the 20 post limit is to weed out bots and spammers. It's there for a good reason and if you can't figure out how to get to 20 posts then how can you reasonably expect to contribute to the betterment of the forum in general with tips and advice?

I've been a member of this forum for a few years, but I haven't had reason to post until now.... Gotta start somewhere to get my 20. I guess I'll find a bunch of other threads and just give them complements.

Anyway, I agree. 20 posts is a little excessive. I think maybe 10 would be a lot more reasonable.
