2000 4-Runner Limited 4x4

Greetings, I have a 2000 4-Runner Limited 4x4 with the center diff lock & rear diff lock. I also own a 1999 4-Runner SR-5 4x4 (no locks) and have noticed that it sits about one inch higher than the 2000. Both are stock vehicles and it sticks in my mind that I read somewhere on the internet some time ago that Toyota lowered the 4-runner a little starting in the 2000 year with with the change coming from the size of spring. I like the higher clearance the 99' offers and would like to bring the 00' up to that spec. The question is: Are there any other modifications to the suspension or steering control that would be affected? In other words, will purchasing a set of 99' springs do the job? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

All '99s and the early '00s had coils with one more wind in them (9 vs 8 on the later models) hence them being taller. You can just swap in the '99 coils with zero problems as it doesn't change anything enough.
Yep,just buy the coils and put 'em on.
