I'm new here so if I'm not following the rules sorry about that. Will learn quickly.
Here is my issue with my 2000 4runner v6. My 4runner from time to time will not start when I activate my security system (regardless of weather). If I activate my security system and deactivate it when I'm ready to use the car, the car will not start or make any sound. No alternator cranks, nothing. If I arm my alarm system again and deactivate once more it ususally start. I took it to the dealer and they checked the electical system and found nothing wrong with it.
I stoped using the alarm system for about a week and everything was fine, so I'm assusming the alarm is the problem.
The question is ... which module to change. I'm told that there are 2 modules for my 4runner, one under the seat and one in the back.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
