Sorry, should have been more specific. Just wondering if anyone has installed a Supercharger on a 3.4 4Runner. I'm seriously considering getting one, and am planning on installing it myself. What steps are involved in installing it? Is it just a basic removal of the stock manifold and install of the charger? I've built many hot-rods, but havent' worked much on newer FI vehicles. Also, I'm planning on installing an AEM brute force intake. does anyone know if this is simply a short-ram, or a full CAI? I've done a search and seen that some members have gotten lower bhp ratings with a K/N short-ram and a S/C. I've read that the supercharger with an intake caused the computer to register as running lean. Should I worry about this, or can it be corected by resetting the ECU or installing a new chip? If the AEM is a SRI, do you think it will cause similar results as the K/N? Sorry about so many questions. this is the first Forum I've belonged to, so I'm still trying to get the hang of this.
