2000 headlight problem

I have a 2000 SR5. The driver's side low beam quit working yesterday. I just replaced the bulb and bulb plug and niether worked. The high beams work fine. Any suggestions?

Check your fuses. You have DRL's, right? DRL 4Runners have 4 headlight fuses, lo left & right, hi left & right.
