2000 rear springs for towing?

Look to procure and install a pair of OME 906 springs in the rear. Expect them to settle (drop) about an 1" after a couple of months but no more. They run about $175 give or take.
Only downside is that the ride may be a little more harsh.

I guess they (OME) is now placing a 9 in front of their spring model numbers.
Also, the longer spring (A I think) goes on the driver's side to account for the weight of the gas tank.

When towing anything, the rear of my 4Runner sags horribly. No idea why because it has the towing package. Anyway, I'm interested in buying something that will help keep the rear end up when towing. Any suggestions?
Just FYI, on a 3rd gen 4Runner, the "towing package" really just means it's got a receiver hitch and trailer wires. There are no suspension/power/braking upgrades at all from the factory.
I agree with Ceasar--a set of OME springs ought to do the trick.
It says "slightly firmer with 2" of lift". So my ass end will be a lot higher. Wouldn't it be better to have a much stiffer spring with maybe 1" lift? Or perhaps a "helper" spring for the stock rear springs? I don't know what's available out there, and that's why I'm asking those who have the experience...

Yes, there will be rake initially but it should drop with time. Does the possibility remain that there may be a discernible amount of rake? Yes.
No one make a 1"spring that I am aware of. You can have air bags installed in the springs, but since your rear springs are at the end of their life, it would be proactive to replace them first.
You can always get replacement springs at the same height. A few have gone this route but I cannot comment on their longevity:
