Complete, excellent condition, genuine Toyota Air Scoop hood for 4Runner (1998-2002) and Tacoma pickup truck (check year compatibility). This is a complete hood assembly off of a 2000 4Runner. It is complete with all under hood rubber seals, insulation pad, and windshield washer plumbing and nozzles (no hinges or bolts). Original millenium silver exterior paint was repainted cobalt blue. Underside is original factory gray paint. This hood is straight with no repairs. There is one small ding about 1/8" in diameter (see photos), but I can find no other defects. Hood is ready to bolt on and go, or repaint the outside first to match your preference. $400. Pickup only, Southern California, greater Los Angeles / Orange County area.

2000 Scoop Hood for Sale

The blue paint job on this hood is pretty poor quality (paint easily chips). I recently had (2) fenders color-matched to an original color for $250, but they also put paint on the inside surfaces. But you would only have to paint the outside because the underside is still the factory gray color. You might be able to get away with stripping off just the blue and then clear coating the remining original silver. I can't believe it should be more than my fender job.

But I don't want to mislead you. I am not a painter, nor do I know how much the materials cost. Also, the blue overspray on the underside that you see in the photos seems to easily come off with paint thinner.
