Sweet. Spring turkey season starts next Friday here in Texas and I've got a date with these guys.

Friend of mines grandfather used to own a huge Avocado Orchard was like 1000 acres out near Hemet California.
We used to go there every year a day or two prior to Thanksgiving to bag a Turkey from his land.
I always used my air rifle, totally silent, deadly accurate, nothing but head shots, no buck shot in the meat, turkey was dead before he hit the ground.

Still have the same air rifle today after 28 years, looks and shoots good as new.
Feinwerkbau 124D, cant beat it for small game.

I use a bow or shoot it in the neck with my Benelli. No pellets in the meat.

Sweet! Nice bird. I'm looking forward to my first spring turkey season this year, but ours doesn't open here in Montana until April 15. Which is good for me- I need a bit more time to prep.
