2000 stock stereo question

I have the stock stereo in my 4runner, the one that has the am/fm cd and tape. I'm just wondering if there's a cd changer jack on the back of this unit. If you know what's back there, fill me in and save me the time of removing the dash panel to find out that there isn't a changer jack back there.

yes, i believe so.

if i remember correctly, that's where i plugged in my ipod adapter.

after installing the adapter i hit the CD button twice to switch to changer mode and accessed my ipod.

if no one else confirms i'll verify tonight when i get home.

i swapped out that head unit with a scion with an ipod cable... it's been a while, but i'm PRETTY sure it has a cd changer port back there - lol.

Thanks, Joel. That's my reason for wanting to know--I'd like to add an adapter for my MP3 player and also my laptop. If you still have the old one hanging around and can check for me (provided there are no other answers to confirm what you think is back there), I'd sure appreciate it.

here you go!

this stock radio/cd/tape player was in my wife's 2k highlander... it was replaced with an alpine headunit that supports the ipod. the alpine will be replaced with a kenwood 994 that supports all kinds of stuff!!!
