2001-2002 Climate Control Unit

After fighting with my climate control unit for some time, including taking it out and soldering as many joints as I could, I finally threw in the towel and sent it to mandigital on ebay (The Speedometer Guy, Speedometer Repair Guy) and he fixed it for $70. I sent it Tuesday, he got it Thursday, fixed it and sent it out the same day, and I got it Monday. I put it in and it works great. It is so nice to gently push the buttons and have everything work. Big recommendation for mandigital on ebay (lifetime warranty too). Best money I spent on the old girl in some time.

I totally agree! I used Mandigital services in January 2014, and the climate control is still working great. It was non-functional before the repair.

I used JRZEE2000TR4LTD right here on the forum. Got the unit repaired, LEDs replaced and it was back in my hands 7 days after I shipped it. Completely satisfied!

I resoldered the connections on the circuit board on mine a couple years ago, credit 98OzarksRunner for the idea (another thread). It held... For a while! I too faced my denial that all would be fine until we got in at the airport a couple weeks ago, at night, in the driving rain storm of the century, and couldn't get the defroster to work. Hella bad. Sent it to JRZEE2000TR4LTD. Got it back in 7 days and I installed it. Even replaced the bulbs with LED's for $59 plus $8 shipping (free shipping coming back). Works better than new! Written lifetime warranty from a fellow 4Runner owner. I can't count the countless dollars and research time this Forum and its connections have saved me.
