2001 4runner sr5 , question about 1999 suspension

i have a 2001 4runner sr5 with 320,000km , my rear suspension is very bouncy, rear shocks are done and i belive the rear coils have sagged . i want to keep my car as OEM as possible and i am not looking for any major lift. i bought rear shocks for my year and model from a local toyota dealer (i didn't install them yet), after doing some research about 1999 suspension i found out that that was the highest year for the 4runner,
i would eventually like to upgrade all the coils to a 1999 coils.
these are the part numbers i found:

These are the correct part numbers for 4WD '99 talls:
Front Right Coil - Blue/Yellow (48131-35400) Passenger Side
Front Left Coil - Blue/Pink (48131 - 35350) Driver Side
Rear Coil - Yellow/Red (48231 - 35210)

My questions are: Should i be buying rear Shocks for 1999 model or will my 2001 oem shocks be ok ? Should i be buying front struts for 1999 model or 2001 front struts ? can anyone help with oem part # for OEM shocks and struts i should be using?
why are the part # different for the front drivers and passenger side coils?
i still have the receipt for 2001 shocks i bought and they haven't been opened yet so i can return them at any time,
what can i expect from this set up compared to 2001 suspension?
this is my daily driver and i want to keep it so that its comfortable for street driving.

I'll answer what I can. You should be able to use the shocks from your 01. The aftermarket stock replacements do not distinguish between the 99 and all the other years. I'm pretty sure it's the same part. I don't know the part numbers. The driver side and passenger side coils are different because the driver side is a little longer to make up for the extra weight on that side from the driver and gas tank. I believe with an 01 you should see between an inch and two inches of lift because the 01-02 4Runners sat a little lower. If you are sagging in the back you will see more though.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I was talking about both the shocks and struts. They should be the same between the 99 and 01. The modest difference in height shouldn't really change what shock is needed.

My main concern is the front, i figured longer coil would mean longer front struts, I guess one way to find out would be to have the dealership check the part numbers for both years of the car.
