2001 Keyless Entry Wont Lock!

Hey guys, new to the forum. I have a 2001 Limited and my keyless entry will not lock my doors! It unlocks them perfectly fine, but the lock button wont do anything. Oh yeah, when a door is open it attempts to lock the doors but gives the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep b/c a door is open but when I close it, no response. Has anyone encountered this and how was it fixed? I appreciate any help you guys can give me!

Does the power lock button work? That'd be the first step of troubleshooting. If that doesn't work, it isn't your keyless entry receiver or remote. Since the receiver knows when the door is open, I suspect the keyless entry system is working fine.
