i have had both. j shift and multi mode. after doing the "andy mod" to my multi mode it was better. but still did not like all the electronics, esp that new style electric brake master cylinder that controlled the traction control.
now im back to a j shift with a e-locker. I of course did the gray wire mod for the locker so I can use it in any transfer case position.
after driving both now up here in the snow and ice...i prefer the jshift with locker over the multi mode, even with the andy mod.
