2001 SR5 4WD center dif question

Hello all,
To some this will sound foolish but I have a question regarding my center dif. It has 62000 miles. I've asked the shop about getting the fluid changed in the dif and they always tell me it doesn't need servicing. Is this true? On a separate issue, I've lubed the propellar shaft myself with a gun once a year since owning it. Is there anything else that needs attention?
Thanks for you help here. The 4runner appreciates it too.

how long has it been since you changed the diff fluid? do you wheel? how often are you 4wd/awd?

I have never changed the dif fluid. Only the tranny fluid. I have it in 4wd at least once a month whenever it rains or snows. I do not do any offroading, etc.
