2001 sr5 Speaker Adapters?

Hey all, tried hard to locate pics of a 2001 factory door, inside w/o the door panel.. no luck..

Wondering about these front speaker adapters, anyone have them? If so, how does that 3.5" speaker vent sound? Seems like it wouldn't work with the stock door panel grills....

Anyone have/tried these? Anyone got any inside door pics w/o the door panel so i can see what i would be looking at?

I agree that the 3.5 wouldn't work unless you do some serious modding. That adapter plate has a similar shape to the runner but does not look like it would match up right. You can pop off your door panel quickly if you know what to do. Let me know if you need a walkthrough

Yeah i have no friggin idea how that ebay adapter would do you any good in the door

What about the tweeter pods? Do aftermarket tweets swap out easily in those? Can you fit up to a 1" there?
