2001 Toyota 4runner SR5 Tire Size Questions

My 4runner has at the moment 20 inch rims on it. I am looking to get new tires soon. I do not want the skinny tires, i wanted to get some regular all terrain tires. I do not have the stock rims. They guy I bought the truck from never gave them to me sadly. I was wondering what my options were about maybe putting 20 inch all terrain tires on my current rims? I can post more info where needed. I know I have Giovanna rims. Not sure about the make of them though.

BFG makes the AT in 265/something/20. But its a load E..


I'd just get smaller rims. 20's must ride like crap, especially with E tires.

Definitely get smaller rims--have you priced offroad tires in the 20" size? Get ready to empty the bank account! I would get some 16 or 17" wheels, which will keep your tires a lot more reasonable.
