I just bought a 2002 SR5 Sport with 91k miles and I'm trying to repair all of the little issues I'm finding.
The backlighting is out behind the hi/low fan speed dial in my a/c - climate control. Before I pull the dash apart does anyone know if this is easily fixable? Does it take push in bulbs or LEDs or micro incandescent bulbs? Will I need to solder a new bulb/LED in? Part numbers/sizes/etc. for replacements?
I've got a bunch of spare micro incandescents from repairing things like this in my 1994 Audi but I'm hoping 8 years later that the Japanese were doing things more intelligently than the Germans.
