Hey guys... it has been a while since I posted last, but I check the site often for information.
I recently put a new set of tires on and just installed a new HU.
Here are some pics of the tires and HU on my 2002 Sport.
The tires are Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos. They look great. A little noisy on the freeway - I'm hoping that will quite down when the tread wears down a bit. But much better handling and ride quality than the Goodyears... Now all I need is some snow!
The HU is an Alpine CDA-9857. I got it mainly for the Ipod control - which is by far the best and fastest I have seen. I also have an Alpine amp and Boston sub. I don't yet have new speakers. Anyone have any recommendation on component speakers for the fronts? Also, I plan to run them off the HU. Does anyone know how the stock speakers are wired? Are the stock speakers (mid and tweeter) wired in series? I know many of the Honda ones are, making it difficult to use the factory wiring when upgrading to components.
