2002 T4R Auto Door Locks

Is there a way to set my auto door locks to UNLOCK when I turn off the ignition?

This way the door automatically unlocks when I turn off the engine so I dont have to bother with it.

I have a 2002 with sports edition.

That would be a very complex mod and have never heard of anyone doing that. I would rather the door unlock when I pull the interior handle. I think just about every other car I've been in does this. I'll eventually get around to seeing if I could link the connecting rods for the 2. This way it would be strictly mechanical.

You can do that by using relays from a switched power and converting the 12+ to a negative trigger. It wouldn't cost much in parts but you need to find someone that knows alarms to help you out. It would actually end up being a lot easier and less expensive (in lobor) to install a basic alarm and will do the exact feature you want as well as other features.
