Excellent condition 2 owner 2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 with 176k miles. Seattle, WA area. Clean title, no accidents and a clean Carfax. Asking $11,500.
This truck has lived in the Seattle it's whole life, so has no rust to speak of. I purchased the truck 2 years ago from the original owner and it has received a lot of maintenance during both ownerships. The truck was originally purchased from Renton Toyota and has extensive local Toyota dealership service history.
The truck is in excellent shape mechanically. All features and functions inside and out work as they should. The 4x4 system works perfectly and reliably. The transmission shifts smoothly and confidently. The AC works and blows cold. The truck easily passed emissions testing when I purchased it in March 2019.
Exterior is in very good condition with a few misc blemishes (small dings, chips, scratches). The paint is in very good shape with great gloss and no failing clearcoat. The tan leather interior is in very good condition with only one very minor 1" crack in the driver side bolster (on the side where they all crack...not on the seating surface). All interior features work as they should. The stock stereo has been replaced with a Kenwood CD/MP3/Bluetooth unit, but the stock head unit will be provided in the sale if desired.
I purchased this vehicle with the intent on keeping it for the long term as my weekend vehicle, but I enjoyed driving it so much I decided to buy a new 2020 4Runner as my daily driver, and so it's become redundant sadly.
In the past 30k miles the truck has had the following performed:
141k miles - Antenna mast replaced
150k miles - Oil pan gasket replaced
162k miles - MAF and PCV valve replaced, new front brake pads, new front brake calipers, new spark plugs
164k miles - Timing belt, coolant hoses, water pump replaced (at 164k miles at Toyota of Seattle)
165k miles - Radiator, thermostat, t-stat gasket, radiator cap, fan clutch, transmission fluid, coolant replaced (all Toyota parts)
168k miles - Brake master cylinder/brake booster & accumulator/ABS module replaced with new Toyota part
170k miles - Front and rear driveshafts lubricated
171k miles - air filter replaced
175k miles - front diff, rear diff and transfer case fluid replaced w/ Mobil1 synthetic
Oil changes every 5k miles (most recent at 175k miles w/ Mobil1 synthetic)
Also included in sale:
Front lower balljoints and bolts (Toyota OEM parts...just never got around to installing them)
Replacement Kenwood front and rear door speakers (again, just never got around to installing them)
Stock head unit and stock pre-amp
A set of trim-to-fit Weathertech all weather mats (in addition to the stock carpeted mats)
