Well, it seems I have a coolant leak behind my intake manifold and after much research and reading tons of forum post, I’m led to believe I either have an intake manifold leak or a corroded water by-pass pipe. Since I’ll be removing the intake manifold, I decided to replace the by-pass pipe while I’m in there. My dilemma is that I haven’t been able to find any info or part numbers for a gasket where the pipe bolts to the block. Even my local Toyota parts dept guy couldn’t find a part number for the gasket. He said it’s possible that you use the black rtv gasket sealant. Anyone have any experience with this? It’s for a 2002 3.4 V6. Thanks!
