2003 4Runner Charger and Rear View Mirror compass not working

Hi:
I don't know much about cars, but I have a 2003 Toyota 4runner 49,000 miles. I recently noticed that the power source in the middle console where I usually have my phone charger stopped working. The compass and the auto-mirror in the rear view mirror also is not working.

Is this just a blown fuse? I took the car in to Jiffy Lube against my better judgment and noticed that these two things stopped working the next day... I'm hoping it's just a coincidence and not some sort of scam...

Any thoughts on trouble shooting? Has anyone else run into this problem?

Is this a new vehicle to you? Both of these circuits are on seperate fuses but are controlled by the ignition. Some people aren't aware that these are only powered on when the ignition is on. Is this the case?
If not, then check the 10A CIG and 15A IG1 fuses in the interior fuse block (lower front panel to the left of the steering column.)
If the fuses are OK, then do your wipers work (with the ignition on?) If not, then check the 50A AM1 fuse/breaker in the main fuse box under the hood.

Hi--thanks for the response. Yes, it is a new vehicle to me. I will check the fuses you mentioned but yes, they both do not work with the car running and my wipers work. I hope it's just the fuses as it seems awfully strange that two different fuses blew at the same time. I hope it's not a bigger problem. Thanks again!

Just a though. Because the compass mirror is an aftermarket install, the previous owner might have wired the compass into one of these circuit and done a crappy job. I would check the wiring just under the shift consul. The plastic piece just lifts up, no screws.
