2003 fender swap???

Does anyone know if I can swap my gray sport fender flares for the painted ones? And if so..where could I get the parts from? I tried to find a post about this but did not. So forgive me if this has already been asked.:shrug:

Hi,
I was thinking the same. But I add the cost of replacing all the plastics(unpainted) it sum up to $2K or even more. IMO, I will also need to replace the bumpers and body/door claddings because it will look awkward, and also the backdoor garnish(handle).

I think it is best to bring it to a good bodyshop and have it painted.

thanks alot... i know you might think I'm crazy but I'm willing to pay 2k or more. I got my 4R at a great deal so I have extra to spare. Once again thanks!

Yes you can swap them. You can get them new From Toyota or look for them in a salvage yard. BTW the grey mouldings are discontinued and you can only get painted ones now. I recall they only manufactured the grey mouldings for half a production year only on the SR5's. I remember by the time april 2003 rolled around the 2003 Sr5's had the painted mouldings I thought the grey was ugly and it was one of the reasons I did not like the early 2003 SR5 model
