Overpriced IMHO. It looks good but the seller doesn't say anything about maintenence before he bought it a few months ago. 167k isn't an awful lot of miles but without proof of maintenence is something that should bring red flags to you. Have you punched the VIN into the Toyota Owners Site?

FYI, if you add up all the $ of new parts and labor in his ad it comes to over $10,000, and add the value of the T4R before he did any work on it which would be at least $4000 to $6000, I believe the total he states he has in it of $15,800 to be true, if he has all the receipts and there's no major rust it's worth the $12,600 he's asking IMHO if you like what you see after driving it, he also says or best offer so that tells me you can get it for less than he's asking if you offer a decent price not to far below his asking price.

Check the vin out for any bad and or good info and make an offer if you like it enough!!

I agree its overpriced! Yes i do have questions for him about previous owners records. Thanks for the link, I hadn't though about running the vin through Toyota owners site!

Yes good point as well, he seemd to know what he was doing when setting this thing up! I would have put uniball uca's but thats about it. Ill call him he just emailed me. Quite honestly all i have is 9200 in my pocket.

I have replaced most of those things, and extra and has cost me over 10k but just check the vin any accidents and that truck would last you over ten years my truck has 158k and the engine is as quiet as a new truck so good luck. Add up the truck without the extras and see the truck value negotiate a bit.Check make sure engine overhaul has been done pump pulleys tensioners reciepts and proof

Could buy the $9000 version of the truck that's been driven by a mom and taken to the dealer every month for service for little things like squeaks with a full service record. Then add all the aftermarket parts you want. $1,000 for labor to install suspension and skids? Pfff, glad I do all my own work. Saved me at least a couple thousand apparently.

He hasn't done the timing chain yet. Due in a year.
 
Agreed, Im definitely going to be patient. All while I love 3ed gens i think I am after a 4th gen. The 4.0has just the power I need. I wont say no to a 4.7 either. Just waiting for the right one with receipts.

Im definitely capable of doing most of my own mods so I can make something exactly what I want.
