2003 SE Front Bumper

I have the grey cladding front bumper which has a pretty big set of scratches from trying to pull into my garage. I can't imagine that replacing it would be very frugal. Any advice on patchwork, if it can even be done on that type of material? Any advice in general? Just leave it alone?

And for the life of me, I can't find a replacement bumper cover online anywhere. All I find is the primered or painted ones, not the gray cladding. Which is why I'm assuming it's going to be a pricy replacement.

Well if you want a cladding replacement, I'm sure the most cost-effective thing to do is call junkyards. Chances are you'll have to travel a bit. How deep are the scratches? Pictures would help as well.

I had to use the V6 to get into the proper body hardware search, but an unprimed front bumper cover for the SR5 or SE model is going for $98.48:

Then you could rattle can some bed-liner or Line-X to match the grey and maybe last a little longer against new scratches?

JB Weld! If you have any large dents, try to get those out first, but after that, sand down the area a little bit for where you're trying to patch, fill the scratches/gouges with the JB Weld, let it dry, then sand it down again to be flush with the rest of the bumper. After that, you can paint the area with whatever color your bumper is, and clear coating it, feathering out each coat with some tissue paper, like this: Automobile Collision Repair-How To Repair Your Plastic Bumper Cover. JB Weld!
