Selling my 03 Sequoia Limited. Frame is rusted. Still drive able and and motor runs very strong. Body and drivetrain is in good condition. Picked up up about 4 years ago with 180K miles. Towed a 17.5ft Bayliner this summer. Frame is rusted above the drive control arm. Frame was coated under the Toyota LSC but more than likely that sped up the process of frame rot.
I can get $1000 if I junk it. Thought I would post it on here for anyone looking to do a 2uz swap in a 3rd gen that knows they are getting a good running motor, trans, and transfer case that they can test drive.
Vehicle has been maintained since I have had it. Did a manual trans flush with Valvoline Max live when I first got it. And 5000 mile oil changes with mobil 5w-30 full synthetic and toyota oil filters. Will also come with 265/75R16 BFG KO2 E with about 50% tread on my 99 limited 5 spoke wheels. This was our 3rd vehicle and the family weekend / roadtrip warrior.
I thought about using the motor in my 3rd gen. I really like this body. Handled the trails in CO very impressively. Atrac was definitely put to use. But the frame rust sneaking up on my like it did, we are now looking to replace it with a 2nd gen sequoia instead of looking for another 1st gen. Which means we will need to upgrade the 3rd gen to a GX for our summer trips.
