I'm new to this forum and see it will be very helpful. I bought my 03 4runner about 8 months ago in St. Louis, now live in central Fl. This is the first Toy I've ever had. chose this year cus' of the V6 4.0. I was wouldering if the Factory had any recalls on this year and model, where can I go to check this out. I know of the over filling gas tank. I have had no problems at all. Runs great, rides great, good MPG for a 4WD. and great pulling power. OH LOOKS COOL TOO! I added a K&N intake system, Airaid throttle body spacer, 20% tint over factory, and ENKIE 20" wheels.

Welcome to the forum!

Only recall on the V6 was the fuel rail damper. Your local dealer should be able to tell you if it was done. Basically, there were a few where the diaphragm could rupture, leading to the possibility of a fire. I have not heard any reports where a fire actually occurred, but worth ensuring it was done just for peace of mind.

Yeah that is the only recall I am aware of, but there have been numerous TSB. Alldata.com can provide you with all the TSB info...

There are two routes -- order from the dealer ($$$$) or buy a day on TIS for $10 and download all the PDF files.
