2003 SR5 lower door and kick panel trim replacement

Hello!

I am new to this forum and have only owned my 4runner for a few weeks now. One of the things we knew about when we first bought the vehicle but never considered to be a real issue was the damage to the trim on the passengers side door and kick panel (I don't know the correct nomenclature for these trim pieces). I figured these pieces would be easy to find and replace, however, i have had no such luck. That is why i am coming to you, sourcing the collective knowledge of 4runner owners everywhere. Unfortunately the local scrapyard has only 3 toyota's and they are all from the early 90's.

OK, OEM part retails for the part # is 75731A for the right hand side and runs about $247.00 for the plain gray that your Runner has, at OEMPARTS123.com. That's the cheapest that I could find it for you. eBay currently does not have one that cheap; not even used. The other option is to sand smooth and paint, OR sand it and Plastidip (which is cheap and easy) ALL of your cladding, which BTW, looks awesome when completed. Good luck!

Have you ordered anything from their site? If you have, does it match thenpart you've bought exactly? I really want to replace my flares on my Pacific Blue t4r, but i'm skeptical.

Thanks for the quick reply! i checked the site you recommended and they have the rocker panel piece as well as the door piece. Unfortunately it would be close to 500 dollars. Sounds like plastidip is my best bet! thanks again!

Why are you "skeptical"? Yes, I have ordered from them a few times in the past and have had no trouble whatsoever. They have a live support line if you want to call them on Monday: 888-743-9375, to allay your skepticism. Another seller that I have used whom equally fantastic prices on Toyota OEM parts is VILLAGETOYOTAPARTS.com. <--- Their website is nice because they have all of the actual OEM schematics and part#'s. Anyway, you'll do fine.
