2003 with Scratched wheels

Any suggestions on how I can polish out these scratches? Was stuck in mud and the tiny stones did a number of the clearcoat. I don't think any are through to metal. Pics of the damage is here:

thanks to the dealership, my wheels are now all scratched up as well. i'll let you know if i find any products that actually work on getting those scratches out ...

The factory wheels are clearcoated, so just treat them like you would paint. If you can feel the scratches with your fingernail, they're probably too deep to be polished out and you might have to get them refinished. If they are light and you can't feel them, you can polish them with any paint polish. I recently bought a set of Limited wheels for my 4R and they came with minor surface scratches that I polished out with 3M Swirl Mark Remover and finished with with a coat of Klasse AIO and 2 coats of Zaino Z2.

From the looks of it, you might be able to get some of the smaller scratches out, but the bigger ones will remain after polishing. You'll probably need a more agressive polish to get the best results.

Before I realized I had clear coat, I was going to try 3M Marine Aluminium Polish & Restorer. A friend told me about a shop that can refinish them for about $65/wheel. At that price, I might as well splurge for new steelies.
