Well I no longer have my El Camino (my first car) and I now have my mom's old 4Runner. It's a v6 it's stock and has 105k miles. I was told that the tires on it now, (P265/65R17) were bigger than stock, but after trying to find out stock size, I believe that those ARE stock size. Not sure. But anyways, the purpose of this post is to find out what I need to know about these. I plan on using as my primary driver (obviously) while off roading here and there. It needs a tire rotation, alignment and new shocks. I kind of want to lift it, but I don't want anything ridiculous, or expensive. So my main 3 questions are:
1. What should I put into it? (if anything)
2. Anyway to turn off traction control?
3. What size tires should I replace the ones on there with?
4. What's the best way to clean the pine needles and **** out from under the car/in the skid plate? (shown in last picture)
5. I also noticed that skid plate is quite low, meaning lower clearance. Would spacers get rid of that?
