2004 4runner - JBL rear audio wont work

There seems to be no display at all or indication that the power is connected. The battery in the Remote is not dead. The battery in the headphones are good. any thoughts?

is it an overhead dvd? or?? need more info pls.

It's the audio radio that works for the rear passengers with headphones.
