2004 4runner keyfob

Just purchased another t4r I now have a 04 to go with my 97. It did not come with key fobs so I purchased some from ebay. Followed the instructions to program them. All went well except the window button triggers the panic signal. Is there something to program it to change it or did I purchase the wrong units.

Where did you get the programing instructions?

I would think if the other functions work them you may have the wrong fob.

The best I can offer is give you the FCC number from my original 2004 keyfob, which is HYQ12BAN, if you get one from a reliable source compatiable with that FCC number it should work correctly if using the proper programing.

I have a 2003 and bought eBay keys and a fob. Same thing happened to me but I haven’t done any digging or research as there were a ton of other items I needed to get to on the vehicle.

Did you buy the right one? It should match the FCC ID Auseeker posted above. I also have a 2003 and that was also my FCC ID. Bought them off eBay and all buttons work.

Yours was less money but mine has the factory Toyota OEM electronics, not sure if that matters.

First try reprogramming it, if the same results, contact the seller to see what they say.

Also the ads says that programming instructions are included, did you try those instructions?
