Long story short I was pretty much done building this rig, I just need a Schrockworks front bumper w/ winch, rock sliders and a dual battery kit and I was finished! However, I am now jobless and cannot afford to have this toy any longer. I know that I am obviously going to lose money on this bad boy but I wanted to show that it was well taken care of and has nearly everything you can buy for it.

Kelly Blue Book Private Party Value on it in Excellent condition is $21,490 and Good Value is $20,490. I figure Im somewhere between those numbers so I called it $21,000. Like I said there is $6529.58 in accessories on it not including the installation fees I paid on all of this stuff :( Anyway that brings it to $27,529.58. But I am a realist and know that nobody would pay that much for my truck. So Im taking a $4098.98 loss to start. I feel that $23,500 is a fair asking price considering the condition, mileage and accessories. All REASONABLE offers will be entertained. Thanks for looking.

Is my asking price too high?? Any inputs are greatly appreciated. I thought I was relatively online with the average market prices, or is the economy so bad that nobody is buying used vehicles? :biggrin2:

I think your asking price is high. The general public doesn't want a car with a lot of mods since they'll take it as you abused or really took it to the edge. The only people that do want a lot of mods are enthusiasts like members on this site. Even then I think your only able to recoup 1/3 of what you paid for. Your probably better off removing your mods and selling your car as stock.

Also just because KBB says it's 21k doesn't mean that's the price. If you want to sell your car quickly price it halfway between what kbb private and dealer trade in are at.

Thanks for the input, the truck is no longer for sale anyway. I have too much money into it to throw it in the trash. Ive seen zero 4runners on the road nicer than mine and only a handful online that are so to heck with it. Thanks to those who checked out the thread anyway. :bigok:

Nice truck unfortunately you wont get more than 20k for it. No average consumer wants a 4runner like that.

Yeah your price is to high. Even with add-ons you can't calculate them for what you paid for them.

I just bought an 2004 SR5 63,000 for 11,500 admittely i got a smoking deal though.

the biggest problem is when you customize a vehicle, you are changing it to your specs. That means just to sell it you have to find people that are just like yourself, which is a much smaller market than the compromised design that toyota originally started w/. That and i would guess most of the people on this site all ready have a 4runner or they wouldn't be here.

Glad you decided to keep it, hope everything works out.
