iamamy said:Hi everyone...I am a new user of this board. I am looking for answers to my 4Runner problem. I purchased a 2004 last fall, and love it, but when I try to engage 4WD Low, it just beeps and blinks and will not engage. 4WD Hi seems to work fine. Any suggestions?

Welcome. :worthless
I am going to assume it's a V6, if not skip step one.
1) Select 4hi while driving. Wait until it's in 4hi (lights are steady state, no flashing)
2) Stop. Put the transmission N and select 4lo. Wait for steady 4lo indication. Sometimes releasing the brake and letting it creep ahead or backwards helps. If you let it roll fast, above 3-5mph, it'll just beep.
This is a good read: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92
Good luck!

iamamy said:Thanks for the replies. I will try that tomorrow. We may even have some snow to try it out with by morningI am so glad I found this board. I have one other simple question. How do I turn off the tire pressure light? I'm sure it is simple.
Again, thanks for your help!!!
iamamy said:Just to make sure I understand, if all of the tires have the correct tire pressure, the light will go off automatically? Right?
